Steampunk Star Wars

Hey everyone, Yes I have joined the Hardcore Modeling Competition on CGTalk. Even though I'm working fulll time at Bent and I may be doing some freelance in the near future outside of Bent, but I couldn't pass this one up. The competition is to create a star wars character in the steampunk style from a list of concept art submitted by other CGTalkers. I have picked to do Bjorn Hurrin's concept of the steampunk Storm Trooper.

I have only really started detailing the head. I am still blocking out the other shapes.
You can view my thread at CGTalker here: Storm Trooper

Very awesome Eric!

You caught the detail really well. How are you planning to tackle the finer detail in the armor?

I think I will just model it in, but if that gets to be a little much I may try to use the extract in Zbrush. I will be using zbrush for wear and tear on the armor and clothes and maybe some wrinkles.
